With the Decks scheduled to arrive at Gambler's on Wednesday, fulfillment should start very soon!!
I wanted to take some nice photos of the sample Decks I received, but the iPad's Camera just cannot do them justice. So, I dusted off my wife's old Canon 20D and remembered how great it is to use some old technology!
On this Update are photos of the White Gold Grinders Deck* and the Draconian Brimstone Deck. I'll post another KS Update after lunch today, with photos of the Copper and Blue Grinders Decks.
*The White Gold Grinders printer's sample Deck I received was without the shiny Seal Sticker. The 500 Decks on the way to Gambler's have the Seal Stickers.

Great news came over last night from Legends. All of the Decks and Six-Pack Boxes for Grinders and Draconian Brimstone are finished and on the slow boat for the U.S.!!!
They're scheduled to arrive at Gamblers Warehouse, in Texas, on April 6th. I'll make sure to have the fulfillment Excel files ready to go well before then, so hopefully Gamblers can jump right into fulfillment. There's 3 full pallets of Decks on the slow boat, so there may be 2 or more other Deck projects that need their fulfillment services (I know one is Jody Eklund's awesome Devastation Decks). I hope no bottlenecking occurs with Gamblers' fulfillment services!
Legends will be sending me a couple of each item in the next week or two. I'll post some photos when I get them!

Hey Everyone,
Nothing big to update on, but I wanted to send an Update to keep you all informed. Below is the status of all elements from the campaign:
DECKS & 6PK BOX: The Printing facility is currently in it's 10 day or so shutdown for Chinese New Year. It looks like we were pushed back a little bit on the crowded after-shutdown print schedule. The Grinders and Draconian Decks (and Grinders 6-Pack Box) will be printed on March 5th, and will leave the week after that for the month-long slow boat ride to the U.S. It's not as timely as I had hoped, but there's nothing more I could've done to speed it up. The print files for all Decks and the 6-Pack Box have been submitted since the first week of the campaign's funding period back in early November. Legends does a great job, and quality takes time!
Last week I received the Invoice from Legends. I drove over to my bank the next day and made an International Wire Transfer for the full amount. Everything's all paid up!
COINS: The Grinders Coin is finished and looks great! I'll send them off to Gamblers in Texas, when the slow boat is a couple weeks away from the U.S.
CROSS-PROMO POKER CHIP: The Grinders Poker Chip for the Duel cross-promo is on the way to every Backer who qualified to receive one (David from Vanda Cards did a great job of cross-checking qualified Backers between the two projects!). The Poker Chip turned out good, but not great (the artwork was a little too elaborate for the small print size). So, I printed the 3" Grinders Sticker and also sent a Sticker to each cross-promo Backer - with their Grinders Poker Chip. The Stickers turned out beautifully!
BACKERKIT LAST CALL: This is the last call to add any Grinders or Draconian Spitfire Add-On items to your BackerKit orders! I will be Locking them down this Wednesday. That gives me plenty of time to export and prep the Excel files for Gamblers' Fulfillment department.

ROME!!! I'm currently in the early phases of my next major project - a fully-custom Deck with an Ancient Rome theme. I've wanted to tackle this theme for many years, and I'm psyched to finally do it!! Since I only spend 2 hours a night on Playing Cards designs, each Court drawing takes me a couple weeks to complete. So, I'll be working on this one well into the early summer (with an estimated July or August Kickstarter). I wanted to give you all a good look at the first two finished Courts - Julius Caesar and Mark Antony!

I took some Card photos from my iPad this past weekend. The UV Spot Varnish layer on the White Gold's Back Card is really cool (seen in the second photo)! It's subtle to the touch, but really shows up visually in dynamic lighting.
Because of Chinese New Year, we are on the Print Schedule for the end of February. It looks like the finished Decks will be leaving Taiwan on March 2nd or 3rd. That means they should arrive at Gamblers towards the end of March / early April, and start shipping out to Backers shortly after. I'll have the Fulfillment Excel files cleaned up and ready for Gamblers, so it should be a clean process!!
Also, a reminder that the BackerKits will close on February 10th. There are a few who haven't filled out your BackerKits. Please do so, or send me a PM with your Shipping Address, and I'll add it into your BackerKit.
